1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, company name, and login credentials.
- Business and job data — projects, tasks, schedules, customers, estimates, invoices, payments, notes, photos, and files you create or upload.
- Communications — messages you send to us or through the Service.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages viewed, features used, actions taken, and timestamps.
- Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and similar technical information.

Information from connected services
When you choose to connect a third-party account (such as QuickBooks Online), we access information from that service as described below and only with your authorization.
2. QuickBooks Online & Intuit data
If you connect your QuickBooks Online account, JobPlanNow accesses and uses your Intuit data solely to provide the features you request — for example, syncing customers, invoices, payments, and related accounting records between JobPlanNow and QuickBooks Online.
- We access Intuit data only after you authorize the connection through Intuit's secure OAuth process. We never receive or store your Intuit password.
- We use Intuit data only to deliver and improve the features you have enabled, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
- We store Intuit data securely and retain it only as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.
- You may disconnect QuickBooks Online at any time from within the Service or from your Intuit account, which revokes our access to your Intuit data going forward.
- Our use of Intuit data complies with Intuit's developer and data-handling requirements.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Process estimates, invoices, scheduling, dispatch, and payments you request.
- Send transactional messages (such as job updates, confirmations, and receipts) and respond to your requests.
- Monitor usage, prevent fraud and abuse, and secure the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers — vendors who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, payment processing, email and SMS delivery), under contracts that limit their use of your data. These currently include providers such as Supabase (hosting/database), Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), and Microsoft/Intuit/Resend (email and integrations).
- At your direction — for example, sending an estimate or invoice to a customer you specify, or syncing data to a service you connect.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law.
5. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account data as described below.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction — you can access and update most account information within the Service.
- Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
- Disconnect integrations — you may disconnect any connected service, including QuickBooks Online, at any time.
- Marketing — we send primarily transactional messages; where we send promotional messages, you can opt out.

8. Cookies
